Antidote To
“The Dialogues”

Course description:

While we appreciate the concept of dialogue and its place in a well-functioning society, dialogue between artists and writers never leads anywhere good. In Ariana Reines’ compiled dialogues, she entertains fringe figures who challenge the foundation of the monoculture we hold dear. In approaching these figures with curiosity, and they her, doors are opened in the consciousness of the viewer to Satan himself.

To contrast this, Opaque College is proud to offer a collection of recorded monologues, including congressional filibusters, Love Is Blind marriage proposals, and vlogs.
We believe deep listening, questioning, and stretching the mind are not only optional, but can be dangerous. We have created this antidote to celebrate speech on its own terms, uncomplicated by the practice of locating meaning through conversation.
