The Antidote to “Inanna”
Invisible College presents Inanna as a figure that can help root you astrologically, mythologically, and creatively. But what does the ancient feminine have to teach us about womanhood today? In some of the early iconography, Inanna was depicted as a bundle of reeds. She was a warrior and a lover, but never at the same time. She was armed. Despite her wisdom and real potential and of course godliness, she did not adequately tailor her personal brand to effectively monetize upon. Or she may have had no means of monetization available in her environment. Thus, her ascendence had an imposed ceiling, which limits her relevance for young women and girls in the 21st century.
At Opaque College, we believe the key to feminine power lies in the future. In this antidote course, we ask “what if Inanna was on Instagram?” We discuss the disconnect between our times and ground ourselves in the present by conducting a close study of the origin and online presence of the AI-generated actress Tilly Norwood. Norwood’s emergence shows us that women don’t need to embark upon a descent in order to rise, freeing us to be more selective in the parts of our humanness we embrace and display. Students are encouraged to practice method acting to fully embody Norwood and call in her power.

I just completed Opaque College’s antidote course and was inspired to create an AI version of myself who is more algorithmically attuned than I am and isn’t distracted by sleep, hunger, or ovulation. With the help of OC and my new clone, I have hope again that my dreams will come true in 2026.”
